This policy covers www.valleypoolclub.com. Valley Pool Club is a pool cleaning and maintenance business serving the Coachella Valley, California.

Information you give us

The quote form on this site asks for your name, phone number, email address, property address, and whatever you choose to tell us about your pool. Name and phone number are required; the rest are optional.

When you submit that form, the details are emailed to us through Resend, an email delivery service. We do not store form submissions in a database on this website — they live in our email inbox, and in Resend's delivery logs, subject to their retention.

We use this information to respond to your request, prepare a quote, and provide service if you become a customer. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-6533FZEY2J) to understand how people find and use the site. It sets cookies in your browser (typically named _ga and _ga_…) and collects things like the pages you view, roughly how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and the site or search that referred you. Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymization as standard in GA4.

This site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs including IP addresses and request times for security and reliability purposes.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Requesting them sends your IP address to Google, as it would for any resource served from another domain.

Cookies and how to refuse them

The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics ones described above. Nothing on this site requires cookies to work — you can block or delete them in your browser settings and the site will function normally.

To opt out of Google Analytics across every site you visit, Google offers a browser opt-out add-on. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" or global privacy control signal.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that make the site work: Resend (delivering form submissions to us), Google Analytics (site measurement), Google Fonts (typography), and Vercel (hosting). Each handles data under its own privacy terms.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How long we keep things

Quote requests stay in our email for as long as they are useful for serving you and keeping ordinary business records. Google Analytics data is retained according to the property's configured retention period. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights in California

If you live in California, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you and why, to request a copy of it, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. You also have the right not to be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging pool service. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
